Excellent hours - open Sunday early (8 AM I think), great, great service. I rented a sod cutter, they delivered and picked it up it to Altadena for $50. I had trouble withe the machine (please note I did not say the machine gave me trouble). Tony came out again after delivery, gave me instructions again, and then reset the clock on my rental, saving me two hours of money. Over and above the call of duty.

I just had a great experience with Simon Rentals, the kind that will bring me back to them for any future rental needs! They had an excellent selection of equipment, great prices, and everyone i came in contact with was first rate! I rented a mini excavator for a digging project and the service I got will make it easy for me to recommend them to anyone!
Great Customer Care – Cheaper than Uhaul, Simon can rent you all kinds of equipment. I go to Simon for their trailers and moving vans. If you're new at this, they'll hook up the trailer to your car for you. They'll even run down some tips for you to make sure your ride is a safe one. My entire move cost me under $120, that was with a van w/ hydraulic lift and an industrial moving dolly. Great deals, great prices and great customer service.
These guys are beyond praise. Great service that is about getting you what you need, cheaply and efficiently. Good advice from down to earth and practical people. Help you load and unload and get you on your way ready to work. I regularly hire mowers and strimmers from them and cannot recommend them highly enough. Wish more outlets had this no nonsense no bullshit approach. Would strongly recommend to anyone.
The staff is very helpful and they have pretty much everything you would need to get the job done. They don't just have 1 of something they have at least 10.

Simon's is absolutely the best place to rent equipment. We've been coming here since we bought our home 20 years ago, if not longer. They're consistently helpful, with a great selection of rentable stuff, and great rental rates.
Today, for example, I rented a lawn aerator. The price was low ($20 an hour), they gave me a complete demonstration of the product (which I have used before), loaned me a cart and a ball-adapter for my hitch at no price, and they loaded and unloaded everything. At more expense, they will also deliver.
I used other rental places before I found Simon and there is no comparison. They're knowledgeable, helpful, with lots of different stuff at great rates. I'd give 10 stars if I could.
